How to Access VA Benefits for Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is included in the VA’s standard medical benefits package, ensuring our veterans receive the best treatment for their pain and chiropractic needs.
To begin accessing these benefits, veterans must contact the VA Hampton Medical Center to schedule an appointment with a Primary Care Provider (PCP). This can be done by calling 757-722-9961 or visiting myhealth.va.gov. Once you meet with your PCP and they send a consult to the VA, let them know that The Spine Group is your preferred chiropractic provider.
Starting Your Treatment With Us
Once your treatment authorization is approved and received by our office, we will promptly contact you to schedule your initial appointment. Your care at our practice starts with a thorough functional movement assessment to identify the root cause of your issues. Based on this assessment, we develop a tailored treatment plan that may include chiropractic adjustments, decompression therapy, therapeutic exercises, and more.
Continuous Support and Care
Typically, each VA chiropractic authorization allows for 12 visits; if needed, we can request additional visits. While there is no guarantee for secondary authorizations, our team is committed to advocating on your behalf to ensure you receive the care you need.
